Had ultrasound and mammogram on 26th to see if chemo working. Not good news - the tumour has grown further, but still have to finish the 6 cycles. I am pretty gutted, to be getting this poison, and now to know its not working, bitter pill to swallow!
Had chemo number 4 after clinic.
Found out yesterday that mum has caught C Diff - so I have to be very very careful. I still need to go into see her, but not every day - docs said to be very cautious.
Got phonecall - dad has been admitted to hospital with heart failure. He is in CCU. What else can happen? Why me? Why us? Suzie understandably upset but is unsurprised that something else bad has happened.
This is my story, as a 42 year old, young woman, living with terminal breast cancer.
