Went to clinic before the ward to get chemo. Told them that I couldnt move for about 3 days. They said it was the steroids - once they were stopped after day 2 I had literally hit the wall. They are going to give me a weaning dose of steroids this time - that should make a difference, as not going from high dose to nothing - I hope they are right.
Went to chemo unit for this chemo - the nurses were lovely, completely different experience from first time, and of course much quicker as I did not have the cold cap.
This is my story, as a 42 year old, young woman, living with terminal breast cancer.
