Mum has really deteriorated since her move to Woodgrove. Went in to see her on 30th - she was pretty unresponsive and unable to eat or drink anything. When I left in the afternoon I just cried - must have had a feeling of what was to come. At about 1800 on the 30th, dad and I got called back in. We sat with mum from then till the time she died today. She was unaware and pretty much unconsious all the time. Told her she could let go, but stubborn bugger kept going for a couple of nights. It was awful to watch, but it has all brought dad and I much closer.
Had planned to go back to work through radiotherapy, but just wont have the motivation or energy after this so signed off work again for a month.
