Dad and I had appointment with mums consultant today. She has been seen by psychiatry. News not good. She has elements of dementia and acute confusion state, secondary to her head injury when she fell, the seizure and hyponatramia. Dad realises that he will not be able to look after her at home - it wouldnt be safe, she needs 24 hour supervision. She is going to be transferred to Cornhill - so sad to see her the way she is now. At least she does not know about my cancer - she is not aware enough to realise.
Was at GP today - have come away with lots of medicines, I am officially rattling. Needing sleeping tabs and happy pills again - suppose thats the least of my worries.
