Got home from hospital today, having gone in on 9th for full node clearance. 2 out of 9 nodes affected. There is no more treatment to give me for this, as have already had radiotherapy to underarm so again just have to keep an eye. Hopefully that will be it.
Had 2 drains in after surgery, god they were bloody sore being removed, I actually swore. Have lots of exercises to do to get full movement back in my arm and have had tips on how to try to avoid getting lymphodema.
This is my story, as a 42 year old, young woman, living with terminal breast cancer.
